On a daily basis, a huge amount of water is disposed of as kitchen waste, toilet waste etc. which is unsuitable for direct disposal and more than 90% of it consists of reusable water. 

  • OASIS Sewage Treatment Plant uses physical, chemical and biological processes to treat waste water in order to dispose it or reuse it. The treated water can be used again for gardening, washing purposes and flushing in case of grey water treatment and the by-product sludge is treated again so that it is suitable for disposal.

  • Sewage treatment is a three-step process

    • Primary treatment: Heavy solids are removed through settling and screening and lighter substances like oil and grease are scraped off.
    • Secondary treatment: Bacteria is used to break down waste through aeration mechanism.
    • Tertiary treatment: Waste particles and nutrients that can damage sensitive ecosystems are filtered out.
